Myiesha Taylor M.D. & Coily Embrace Founder

Much of our health information is presented by Dr. Taylor.  We appreciate Dr. Taylor, and her contribution to our community. 

Dr. Taylor a Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician and Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians. 

Dr. Taylor received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Chemistry from Xavier University of New Orleans, and her medical degree (MD) from the University of Southern California School of Medicine.  She continued her training as an intern and resident at Los Angeles County King Drew Medical Center in South Central Los Angeles, which was at the time, a premier training program in the heart of one of the most violent cities in America. 

She served as Chief Resident her senior year as an emergency medicine resident and she received multiple awards, both community-based and academic.  Throughout her educational experience Dr. Taylor has combined her love of medicine, chemistry and healthy living.  While at Xavier, Dr. Taylor participated in research that lead to a warning on lead in hair dye products.

Dr. Taylor has served as Associate Medical Director of the largest public urgent care center in Los Angeles.  Her work experience also includes working with Kaiser Permanente as associate partner, California Physicians Group as partner, University of Texas Southwestern (Parkland Memorial Hospital and Children's Hospital Dallas) as EM faculty, and other various community based private practice physician groups. 

Dr. Taylor currently resides in the Dallas Fort Worth metro-plex where she continues saving lives in the emergency department.  She is also a medical consultant, health coach and advocate where she works one-on-one with patients to help them understand their health issues and empowers them with information (www.TayloredPhysician.com). 

She is married and has three wonderful children.

Coily Embrace's Government Advocate

William SchlitzOur resident government advocate and political analyst is William Schlitz.  William uses his experience in government and politics to help our readers connect the dots between the issues that affect our lives.

William has over 20 years of experience in government and political campaigns.  Since the late 1980's William has served on the staff of 6 elected officials in a variety of roles.  In addition, William served as the political and media director for the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees (AFSCME) Local 3299 in California.  William used his legislative experience to help advocate for the needs of 20,000 plus University of California Employees.

William has also worked in the field of public relations and has a understanding of how corporations attempt to utilize public relations and "cause marketing" to help influence public opinion about themselves. 

William currently resides in the Dallas-Fort Worth metro-plex.  In addition to his work for Coily Embrace, he volunteers time to help families adopting children from Ethiopia navigate our government during the adoption process.

Victoria Taylor

Victoria Taylor is the newest member of the Coily Family and is the publisher/editor of the online magazine Renew Your Mind. She lives in California with her husband and two children. Her goal is to connect with women all over the world and let them know that they are not alone in this world  “We are all related in some beautiful way.”  She encourages women to seek help from their creator who knows them better than they know themselves.
